About Heritage Acres:
Heritage Acres Farm Museum is administered by the Old Man River Antique Equipment and Threshing Club. The club is dedicated to promoting an interest in and preserving the Agricultural history of Southern Alberta from 1880 - 1960. Formed in 1988 the club has been very active in relocating and restoring Historic buildings and developing extensive collections of Pioneer and farming related Artifacts and Archival material.

Heritage Acres offers a broad range of opportunities to enrich the lives of volunteers who contribute in many areas of operations. Club membership is slightly over 100 at present, many of whom are retired seniors who volunteer regularly. Volunteers can always be found restoring equipment, working on the buildings or maintaining the grounds, be sure to stop and say hello. Many more are working behind the scenes as board or committee members busy planning and working toward a secured future for the site.

Heritage Acres provides an important community/regional service by collecting and preserving Southern Alberta's Agricultural History. The club is also committed to promoting that rich history through educational programming, exhibit development and live demonstrations at special events. Guided tours of the site are now available throughout the summer season and off season tours are available by appointment.
