CHUCKWAGON COOKOUT
June 25, 2011 - 6:00pm
The 12th Annual Cook-Out serves Roast Beef 1800's Style with all the trimmings. Step back in time and enjoy a meal served off the back of a Chuckwagon. This would have been done at the end of a day of a Cattle Drive or, as it was when pioneers crossed the prairies. It was originally cooked over a buffalo chip fire and at our Cookout it is still cooked over an open fire. Stay for coffee, listen to the music, maybe have a dance or a sing-a-long. Maybe just sit back and enjoy talking of days gone by. Always sold out so get your tickets early.

Tickets may be bought from Members for $15.00

HERITAGE ACRES 24th ANNUAL SHOW
July 29, 30 & 31st 2011

Looks like it's going to be a jammed packed weekend at Heritage Acres during the 2011 Annual show!! For the first time ever we are hosting another major club at our Annual event. The International Harvester Collectors Club, Chapter 38 is joining us and bringing with them a large number of their treasured IH equipment and about 200 of their members. It promises to be a fun and eventful weekend.

Our parade of power, which features horses, vintage tractors and antique cars and trucks will be showcasing many more significant pieces this year, brought in by our International Harvester friends. And the tractor pull should offer some exciting moments as we have heard a few of the younger folks will be working through the winter building their "sure winners" ---- Yea Right!!

There will be the usual field demonstrations, sawmill demonstrations, children's games, live entertainment and lots of great food. The Heritage Mall will be humming again this year with vendors, craft demonstrations and a quilt show on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Red Barn loft will showcase musical theater in the afternoons on both Saturday and Sunday and a good ole barn dance on Saturday night is a great way to end a busy day. Horse drawn wagon rides are available during both days to transport you between events and to tour the site.

Start your day early both Saturday and Sunday with a pancake breakfast included in the price of admission --- what a deal!! After breakfast, on Sunday only, a non-denominational church service takes place in the historic Jumbo Valley Church, always well attended.

Admission: Adults $10 per day; Weekend Pass $20.00
Family $25 per day; Family Weekend Pass $40.00
8 years and under FREE!
