About Heritage Acres Farm Museum
Nestled in the rolling foothills of the Rocky Mountains lies Heritage Acres Farm Museum, a 180 acre site steeped in history and filled with country charm. Located next door to the spectacular Old Man River Dam, it is well worth the short drive off Hwy 3. Established in 1988, Heritage Acres is now Alberta's largest independent Agricultural Museum and is home to an extensive collection of pioneer and farm related artifacts. A significant number of relocated heritage buildings also adorn the site, all filled with interesting artifacts recreating a bygone era. Give yourself lots of time to enjoy all that the site has to offer, snacks, beverages and Ice cream are available in the gift shop or bring along your own picnic lunch, tables and park benches are located throughout the site so plan to stay a while.
